Small unit, good quality

I've had good luck with Verbatim products in the past, particularly blank CDs. I was excited to try this flash drive and so far it has worked well for me. The biggest plus is the size of the entire device. It's a 32GB drive, which is plenty for most things. It works well as a storage device but also as a bootable media if you need to use it for recovery media, OS replacement or other things. There are larger flash drives available, but this is sufficient for most. It comes with FAT32 file system which makes it easily readable on almost all modern operating systems. My Linux system can mount and read it, but Windows 10 opens it automatically. I'll probably reformat it to use the more powerful filesystem primarily on my Linux system. I searched the drive for hidden files and only found the system volume. seems to work on par with other well known brands I have. I've worked with drives that were pretty slow when copying large files like ISO images; This seems average compared to Sandisk and PNY drives. Where this drive is really different is its very small size, which is good but can also be an issue. It folds down to the size of a nickel (roughly) and fits easily in a change pocket. This keeps it out of the way and easy to throw in a bag, purse, pocket or backpack even when full. But that also means it's easy to find in the wash. So far I have nothing to complain about with this drive and would happily recommend it. It works well, is easy to spot across platforms, and small enough to go anywhere.
