I've been poking around for quite some time. There are many very cheap beach balls out there and they are probably all of the same quality. I really do not know it. I used to only buy these. However, I've seen people complain about other products that are either too soft and break easily, or other products smell strange or something like that. I got a recommendation from a third party review site that these were better, so I bought them. You seem perfectly fine. I always use distilled water and have never had a problem with the beads smelling funny and the kids seem to have a lot of fun with them. Unless you plan on expanding all 20,000 at once (definitely NOT my plan) you need a way to seal them and keep them together. I just poured them into a ziplock bag. Problem solved.
