I bought the XL for our Black Lab/Pit Bull mix. She weighs 77 pounds, has a strong chest, but her neck and lower body are more like a Labrador Retriever. This fits great! It could probably be large as well, as the velcro patches are wide enough to accommodate different widths. She doesn't look worried when we put her on and looks very cute on our cold weather walks. I've only used it 4 times (in rain/snow or temperatures below 28 degrees). It gets dirty under the floor but is easily wiped off with a towel. I haven't had to wash yet.
