We have used many of these in the construction of our new house. For most of the house we used 6 1/4" hole centers except for half of the tub where we used 3" hole centers. This was because the old vanity that we converted into a vanity already had 3 inch holes for the old handles. The rest were new build/install parts, so we chose the size we felt looked best. For the single hole handles on both dressing tables we used the brand Goldenwarn, model J12BK, which match perfectly. After installing almost 40 of these handles, we were left with only two with carved threads that could not be used. They look great on our kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, wedding dresses in our closet and we even used one on the top of the laundry tub door. They look great in our master bathroom with Kes brand towel rails, model A2480DG-BK. The handles come with two sets of screws that can be used depending on the thickness of the wood. We love how everything fits together throughout the house. After a year of use we haven't had any problems and it's very easy to clean. Will buy more for future projects!
