Terrible. I just received this tonight. I made roast beef. After 45 minutes of cooking I went to check the temperature. To set the oven. He said it was 180. I freaked out. Although I cooked it in a ceramic bowl, and not in a brazier. I thought I overcooked the roast. I took it out. Let it rest while you prepare the rest of the meal. Start cutting. Blood is dripping everywhere. My family like it very much. I don't, so we're average, it's awful, and I've already sliced the roast so I can't just throw it back in. I have never given a 1 star review before. This isn't the thermometer you want to entrust your hard-earned dinner to. I don't see a way to calibrate it in directions. Terrible. Which makes me think of these other reviews. I find it easy to read. It charges up quickly, but if you can't measure the cooking, that's the whole point. There's no point in having it. Now after a few months I've barely used it but I tried it out for Thanksgiving and the numbers are gone. Only they have a show. He said "your dinner is ready" but I need numbers. garbage
