Because of their size they are great for sleeping. You can sleep on your side and they won't bother you if you choose the right size. The sound is ok. it's not terrible, but it's not great. However, you don't buy them for the sound quality. They buy them because they fit in your ear and cancel out almost all outside noise. For that they get 5 stars. BUT. I already have two sets. They only last about 3 months and then for some reason start activating the voice on my phone(s). This happened with 4 different phones and voice activation is disabled on all of them. I'm not sure how he keeps this up, but I use them to sleep to the sound of ambient rain. If the voice cuts out in the middle of sleep, that's a serious ban. I don't have this problem with any of my Bluetooth headsets, but they only have 4 hours of battery life and you can't sleep on your side. So yes, unfortunately the 3 month lifespan gives this one a 1 star. I'm not buying the third set.
