Buy Gorilla Tape. It's cheaper and may work better if you can hide the repair
This is basically heavy scotch tape with extra glue for sealing. If the repair is going to be visible it will work pretty well as it is clear, however, if you can hide the vinyl repair, I also used Gorilla tape and it worked as well and is much heavier so I have to believe it will be longer-lasting and it is less expensive.
