I used this on a trip to turn on my iPad when my 5 month old daughter started misbehaving. I drove alone, so distracting her on long, hour-long drives was a lifesaver. 4 days of driving with a baby is rough and tough enough when you can't hop in the back seat to soothe a crying baby. I attached it to the headrest in the center seat of my jeep. It faces backwards, so I had to thread Velcro through the hole in the rear headrest to secure it. Once the iPad was attached to the mount, things got pretty tight. He's been sliding left and right on the big bumps in the road, but I think that's because there was a bag next to him and he could hit him. He generally stayed in place throughout the ride, and she was able to turn her head to look at him. I had a rear-facing baby mirror on the headrest in front of her car seat. Definitely a great mount if you already have an iPad for it.
