The toaster always makes the right toast. If you need 4 slices of toast, the second batch will be identical to the first even if the toaster is already hot. The toaster loses a star for placing the controls on the side of the toaster instead of the front. The browning control setting can only be read if you turn the entire toaster towards you. I guess it's not a big deal, but it's definitely annoying when you need to change a setting. It's just the two of us here, and we like it when our toasts are the same. If you have a large family then this toaster is not for you. Get one with front panel settings.
