Review on 💧 Pentek R50 BB Pleated Polyester Cartridge: High-Performance Filtration for Superior Water Quality by Justin Vasquez

This is a good quality filter. We use it on our well as the first filter. The second filter is a Pentek 25/1 and the last is a 10 micron carbon filter. All of this goes into the pH neutralizer and finally into the UV sterilizer. We installed this whole system earlier this year because we drink a lot of water and live in a well. We also failed to test the water for several parameters (bacteria, pH). As of July 21, 2016, we have been using this filter for about 2 months. I've washed it once so far. I considered Pentek 75/25 instead of this filter as it is cheaper, but the fact that I can wash this filter multiple times really makes this filter more economical. When it runs out I will replace it with the same one. I'm expecting 25/1 and the charcoal filter needs to be replaced more often than this filter as long as I keep flushing it. Very happy so far and our water is safe, tasty and no longer pollutes the pH in the tub, toilet and faucets (but not because of this filter). This filter is the first protection in my water system.
