I'm by no means an audio snob, and I don't really emphasize the breadth of the speaker's capabilities. I have a Flip 5 speaker that I compared directly to... while not as loud as the Flip 5, I've also noticed that the Flip 5's sound quality degrades at this high volume. When directly comparing the output (to my ears) at maximum volume from this speaker, I felt the sound quality was very similar. No problems initially connecting via Bluetooth or later reconnecting to my iPhone 11. The speaker seemed to get charged from the sun although I didn't drain the battery to see how efficient it was compared to charging from a wall outlet was... and how good storage in the sun can extend battery life. Considering the price and the built in solar panel... I don't regret the price one bit. Especially for the sound quality (again to my amateur ears) compared to a much more expensive speaker!
