I have a shiny black dog and these wings are PERFECT! The size chart seems correct. She weighs about 55 pounds and the plus size fits her well. The harness straps for the wings are easy to put on the dog and the costume doesn't seem to bother her at all. I actually had to hold her after I put her on because I thought she would just run around the garden like she always does with wings and all. I think this probably works best on a black dog. The straps match my dog's coat color and he looks like he's about to fly away! A small problem is that the wings were folded in half during transport and there is still an ugly crease on one side. I hope that goes away with time.
