This cleaner is very concentrated and a 2 liter bottle should last you a long time. We started with carpet in our media room, the only carpeted room in the house, which is probably why pets (both dogs and cats) love to hang out there. They all left their mark on the carpet at some point, whether through illness, youth and unpreparedness or old age and immobility. the effectiveness of this product and we were surprised at how much of our carpet that "looked" clean was removed. I even illuminated it with a black light, and although the spots appeared, they were a lot less than before. Thanks to the advice of another reviewer here, we used it in our laundry room for pet soiled items like rags and were very pleasantly surprised to see how well they wash. This will probably be our main use for this product as we only have one carpeted room in our house and clean it maybe 3-4 times a year.
