Helped me diagnose/confirm that our 14 year old oven was dying/developing a serious problem. Helped us understand that our normal oven can only reach up to 300 degrees. Also helped us realize that our small toaster was about 20 degrees colder than the setting due to the high altitude (Utah). This will help us know how to adjust the temperature to compensate for the difference in altitude for the recipes. Easy to use. Has a stand and a hook. Note: its metal is easy to accidentally bend (it almost looks and feels like an aluminum can), but for the low cost it's not surprising, and you can bend the metal back to how it should be if you're too rough deal with it. so it's no big deal. Cheaper than paying a mechanic to diagnose our oven. ;-) It's also nice to know how our altitude affects temperature so we can better prepare for cooking.
