Scissors broke in half on first use
They are terribly constructed: the metal only protrudes a little into the plastic handles and that's where they broke. If you were designing demolition shears, you would design them so that the metal ended at the point of greatest force on the lever, and they did. Stupid design or planned obsolescence: who knows, doesn't matter, save money and buy all the metal gadgets that will last a lifetime, not five minutes under pressure.
