I describe myself as a music lover. I have and have had various TOTL systems (DACs/amps) using bizarre, purposefully chosen cables and wires to provide great source music to headphones and other devices. So, I have an opinion on what I should hear. Since these are bluetooth sports in-ear headphones, I think they're pretty good. I have a wired version of this and I really like it. The difference between this and the wired is that it's a bit heavier as most of the electronics are in the case, so the fit and comfort might not be for everyone. However, if you manage to get him to stay and work for you, that sounds great. Bass can be boomy, mids are acceptable, and highs are fairly smooth. I really think it's more of a fun setting and meant for a purpose. Provide music during training. I find them great for this purpose. They always sound better than popular $25 Bluetooth sports headsets, but are 4-5 times more expensive. It would be hard to convince anyone to get this over one of those cheaper headsets, but the sound quality makes it worth it to me.
