I like how latency is minimized without expensive amplification technology. Perfect for performances and practice as a sound monitor and home speaker to amplify my own sound. I didn't need it closer than 30 feet yet as I had to separate it from the speaker inputs by about 15 feet. Response time seems great, far exceeding the lag of what I think Bluetooth or even Wi-Fi can do. This is my first personal wireless mic and it seems to work just as well as wired mics so I'm happy with it and don't want to spend a lot more money on fancy tech. I chose UHF because I know how slow other microprocessor technologies can be and I chose to avoid any possible disappointment. Ultimately I chose it based on the price of the utility - it was the lowest price I could find for the use I needed. I don't need or want perfection, just amplified sound without wires. I don't even know what the more expensive, high-tech gadgets have to offer, and I have no interest in exploring them because it suits my needs.
