Beware of CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) speaker cables. I installed this and a piece of copper wire on some outdoor speakers last summer; Only the copper cable is fine, but the CCA cable is defective. I had to constantly cut the wire to get usable (not badly corroded) ends. The CCA cannot be soldered on and caused hours of frustration as the speakers cycled in and out - only to find that the CCA wire was (again) corroded despite being crimped and protected with heat shrink tubing. Don't waste your time and money with CCA unless you're using a temporary facility (e.g., a one-day outdoor event). If you want a solid setup that works, use pure copper. Now unfortunately I have to dig up the yard again to redo the speakers with pure copper wire. learn from my mistakes
