Easy way at learning Spatial Analysis
The ability to easily access information, to be able to view data sets with little to no knowledge of GIS or spatial analysis tools. It is easy to learn and use once you understand it. I wish that there were more tutorials available for beginners. There are some things that you have to figure out by yourself. For instance, how to create maps, what data sets are relevant to my project, etc. This software does not require a degree in computer science or engineering to get started. You can use this product to analyze and visualize data as well as perform spatial analytics.
Pros
- Ease at which users may start learning within minutes.
- Easy map making without any technical expertise required
- Visualization tool built into Excel interface (for those who want do work from Microsoft office)
Cons
- Not intuitive enough compared other products such ArcGIS
