Review on Midweight Soft Cotton Crewneck Sweatshirts For Women, Long Sleeve Tops By Fuinloth by Lisa Pruitt

Not worth the price

I'll start by saying that I am very disappointed by this crewneck sweatshirt. It retails for about $25 and yet, I've seen much better crewnecks at Target for a bit less. Heck, even a fruit of the loom crewneck is better than this and so much cheaper. The fabric of the crewneck on the outside is somewhat rough and does not look good. I thought that perhaps the fit would be good and that I could still get some use out of it, nope. I am 5'0" and weigh around 122lbs and ordered a medium because I wanted an oversize fit, and this fits terrible around the shoulders and arms. It makes me look frumpy. The shoulder seams are different from a "traditional" seam and are not directly on the shoulders, but rather on the arm. I have several pieces of clothing with seams like that, and they look and fit well. However, with the thickness of this crewneck, the seam looks boxy and stands out on this sweatshirt. I thought that perhaps it was due to my true size being a small, so I had my mom try it on. She is 5'2" and has broader shoulders than me and overall, has a bigger frame than me. She weighs around 129lbs and is normally a medium, so it should fit her well. However, it doesn't. The seams really stick out and make the arms look weird. It doesn't look good at all.I really wanted to like it, but it fits horrible. It's not worth the money.

Pros
  • Really like the warm and comfort of the sweat shirt
Cons
  • Poor quality material that easily tears and pills after just a few wears
