I don't usually buy collars, my dog is very large and does better with a harness. I wanted to try something new in guiding type training and I liked some of the qualities of this collar. First the padding, this collar has really dense foam padding that doesn't bother my dog's neck. Second, adjustability. I contacted the manufacturer and they offered me an XL size for my breed. I was able to go down a bit, which I like because it allows me to "fine tune" the fit. Its adjustability is ensured by a strong Velcro and Velcro strap. The third, and perhaps the coolest, is the all-metal clip. This thing is strong but will only release when you want it to. I'm a big guy and didn't get a chance to "accidentally" disengage the latch. Other notable elements include the fully stitched handle and space for a Velcro panel or logo. They come with an American flag, but any name tape 1.5 inches high will do. Make sure it's reflective like the one they supply. TL:DR Great collar with great features and would recommend to my family.
