Foreword: I am a student and have my first office chair, by buying a room full of furniture from the last tenant of my house for a few hundred dollars. I liked my chair because I could sit sideways on applesauce and recline enough that I could occasionally fall asleep while putting on my nightgowns. It had no back support (I had a pillow and blanket under me) and it was mostly all held together with duct tape, but we spent many nights together and I appreciated that beyond measure. The last straw was that I fell asleep and broke one of my legs and my head almost fell on the corner of the bookshelf. Even then I loved this chair so much that I tied the Tide capsule box to my broken leg and kept it for another 8 months, every time I sat back, played Russian roulette, rolled the dice whether I fell or not. After finally getting my student job, I decided it was time for my Tide Pod Box Chair to take off for the big office high up in the sky. I tell you about TPBC's legacy to highlight how hesitant I was to adopt a new chair and how selective I was in my choice. I searched for days before finally ordering this due to failure. Rating: It seems like every damn chair in the world has conflicting reviews online. One review says it's comfortable, big and awesome, another says this chair kicked her dog and embezzled money from her savings account. I'm here to assure you that this chair is a good chair. It arrived in 2 days with first class shipping and took less than half an hour to assemble. My poor ass had no idea what support was until I sat in that chair. Armrests of this chair allow me to rotate my ridiculously long body into many comfortable positions given the width of the seat. I don't think this will offer my larger friends comfortable wiggle room, but my needs My head lifts a few inches off the back of the chair when I'm standing upright, but when I recline it's the perfect angle to get overhead lean back and rest. This thing has strong legs. I really enjoy being able to recline as far as I want without the endless threat of potential death looming over me and I think after some use it will recline as far as I want. a semi-low table, but my crossed legs still fit comfortably underneath. The appearance of this baby looks the same as the picture. The cushions provide good back and spine alignment and while I was concerned that the padded cushion at the front of the seat would interfere, it isn't at all, but it actually provides plenty of support and prevents you from tipping forward. The curved detail that determines how easily you can recline works perfectly, as does the height adjustment. You have an opportunity to find a chair to test in the store because your training makes you tap dance below the poverty line, it really is. Excellent. Chair.
