Review on 🌾 5-Pound Ammonium Sulfate (NH4)2SO4 by Devin Jirsa

Like you, I have no doubt spent many hours trying to control the "enemy", the weeds! On my lawn (well, dewdrops, etc.), especially in my yard and elsewhere - oh, and how hundreds of cracks in my driveway! Try as I might, no sooner had I removed the weed killer than I heard a giggle in the background, no, not my weeds? Over the past few years, I have read observations in several weed control articles in various scientific publications that suggest that the pH/hardness of the water used when mixing the concentrate can affect the effectiveness of the herbicide, namely the Mixing ammonium sulfate with the water of the final solution before adding the concentrate will chemically block harmful salts, reducing the effectiveness of herbicides. (The concentrate is one of the most famous, by the way.) I mixed and applied about 8 gallons. It's very hard to tell if adding AS helped, but I keep hoping. Will try to evaluate and update the rest of the weed season. JSR November 23, 2013 I'm updating this initial review by adding two sources that recommended including AS in a working Roundup solution and the reasons for doing so.
