Review on 🚧 Skip Hop Expandable Baby Gate: Versatile Playview Enclosure for Safety and Style by Sherrill Stockwell

Received and installed two of these today so here are my first impressions: PROS: They certainly look sturdy, the instructions were easy to follow with or without the baseboard (there is a helpful installation video attached too) and looks nice. CONS: When you buy this baby gate, it cannot be operated with one hand while holding the child. You have to press two buttons on one side and simultaneously unlock the gate to remove it from the other side and vice versa to close and lock it. I didn't consider this fact until I was almost done installing the two I ordered, otherwise I might have considered other options. I'll try anyway since I have them installed and I'll share my final verdict. Maybe the benefits outweigh the costs🤷‍♀️🤞🏼 Update after the test 1 week later: within an hour my toddler pulled the net and one side came out of the wall. It was very annoying to open and close them while going up and down the stairs while holding my toddler or child. Overall this is a great product but not if you are using it on a child and not in a high traffic area. Gave them back.
