I was disappointed with the vent mounts because they just don't stay in place. And while I have one MagSafe-compatible phone, my wife doesn't, so I don't need a phone mount that doesn't work with both. I like that it tightens but I have to remember to put it in before I start the car because it tightens when power is applied. I have an iPhone mini 13 and it slides out easily when I turn the phone off. From 11 years old, my wife is a little more difficult, but that's okay. My only issue is that it won't connect to my sound system while charging without a physical cable. So it works great for me when I'm driving alone because I'm either using my AirPods or just listening to the speaker. But it's not enough for my kids to hear the noise in the back seat. In fact, however, these limitations are related to the type of car. If I had a Bluetooth enabled sound system that would be great.
