I bought 4 of each color when I went to Hawaii and realized I needed more than one beach towel and beach towels take up so much room in my suitcase that I need one need smaller version. They are so compact that I take them with me and use them as a blanket and seat cushion. I was skeptical about how thin they are. So I opened one up and after the usual wash and low tumble dry the towel was as good as new. I used to dry myself at home after showering. Although the towel is not thick, it serves its purpose. I'll update to Hawaii as I hope the sand doesn't stick to them. But right now I really love them as my regular towel at home. Subsequent update of the beach towels. Update December 31, 2018 These were my only beach towels in two weeks in Hawaii. Sand will not stick to the towel when the towel is dry. They wash and dry quickly and now I'm used to the feel of the texture. Excellent investment.
