Compact and gets the job done

My car had no exhaust fumes. So after watching some online videos. I've decided to buy this. I prefer to invest in it and learn from it. Fix it yourself instead of taking your car to the shop and taking money for unnecessary expenses. My car had multiple error codes. One of them had a misfire. This tool is mode 6. It tells me which cylinder is misfiring. It helps a lot to narrow it down. The other code was for the catalytic converter. After I connected my scanner to it. It was actually an oxygen sensor. The tool gives you a live sensor voltage so you know which one is faulty. The third code related to a leak in the evaporator system. It was the most different of them all. It took a long time. After troubleshooting. I have used this scanner to clear codes. While driving, I used one of the functions to control the sensors and the evaporation system. The codes never came back. That way I would know I'm ready to go through the emissions. This is really a good investment. This will save you a lot of money. If you are a practical person. I definitely recommend that to you. But if you are a person who likes to get their hands dirty. I rather not. Really a tool with more features than I need. The price is average.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
