I was looking for a canvas bag and had high hopes that it would become my short trip bag. Whilst I liked the materials, design and versatility of this bag's backpack/duffle style. It takes minor but necessary fixes to the backpack's belt clips to really make it as useful as it was intended, and so I couldn't justify keeping this $60 bag. I bought it mainly as a backpack. and gym bag (shoulder strap style) second. Unfortunately, the plastic clips used for backpack straps are awkward and flimsy, causing the straps to come loose when the bag is fully loaded. I had a bag with 5 days of basic clothes, a toiletry bag and a laptop, totaling around 10-12 pounds. I get my bag out of the trunk and when I put the backpack on, both clips release and the bag falls to the floor. Although I think there was a misunderstanding, I remind you that I'm currently not supporting you because of my experience with contacting the clips coming loose it was quite a ridiculous response but also the deal was closed upon my return and verification they offered new clamps but it would take 15 days and there was no guarantee that would fix the problem. It's a shame because if it wasn't for the backpack clips that couldn't hold a fully loaded bag I would definitely keep and recommend them, but at this price point I was expecting a product that was decently heavy and functional in both styles of Benefit The canvas material and stitching are top notch, it's thick and I think it can last for many years, and the color was exactly what I was expecting too had rtet. I really liked the metal buckles and zippers they used around the bag, they complement the design but also make it really functional and secure. With 5 smaller pockets on the front, side and back, there's plenty of room for quick-access items. Anyway, this may not have worked for me, but maybe it will suit your needs.
