Let me try to make it asap. The lid holds up fairly well, but the center bar is too long - when bent, it deforms the shape of the pot so much that the hinged lids won't open or close without serious force. By serious compulsion I mean needle nose pliers. The tiny wooden handles meant to open the lids almost pulled away from me as I performed the hot pot, closed lids, and flaming popcorn dance. In fact it sucks. I tried curling up the edges of a lid to give it some slack, which only made it better because I can now insert pliers to pry it open. It's either designed by a drunk first-year art student, or it's just a case of crappy quality control. The stirrer is almost adequate, but doesn't move the popcorn to the end of the whip. The bottom on my stovetop hasn't warped, but it tends to burn over medium heat.
