Pleasantly surprised for two reasons. Water resistance and application pen: >> The water resistance is ok - I tested it in the sea and in the shower. My eyelash curl was gone, the mascara wasn't that noticeable, but I definitely still had a coat on. No stripes on the face. Since I only use it to color my blond eyelashes on beach days, I am satisfied with the result. Not exactly glamorous but still crisp after being dunked in water.>>Now that I've used it I see quite a few people complaining about the wand. I have medium lashes and I like the brush. If you have short eyelashes, it can be more difficult to apply eyelash extensions without getting on your eyelid. I usually use Mineral Fusion *Volumizing* Mascara.
