Review on Hydronix HF3 10CLBK12 Clear Housing Black by Brian Olson

I bought three along with three filtered water brackets in the kitchen to power ice machines and drinking water faucets. Because contact time is important for charcoal filters, and because they also relieve water pressure at the faucet, and because under-cabinet space doesn't allow for taller cabinets, I set them up to run water through three jugs in parallel to handle all of them three problems. I finally tried to install them this week. I give up and throw them away. I CANNOT get female connectors to be sealed with barbed brass/MPT fittings. they drip. Fix it and they drip later. I've even tried teflon tape, which isn't usually great for plastic thread. Used pipe additive Rectorseal. nope After all, even ABS cement is a step of desperation. no You look good, but not everything fits. Since it's too late to throw these (now mangled by me) pieces of junk back in the trash.
