. The image quality is noticeably better than my laptop's built-in camera. It installs easily and sits well on my laptop screen and home monitor. Two negatives and a curiosity (1) The image is distorted from a distance; fisheye effect. When I use the camera in my home office, the photo frames and bookshelf in the background are not square. The image sticks out a little as it moves away from the camera. This does not apply to the camera built into my laptop. (2) I use a USB hub at home. This allows me to connect a laptop as well as a full-size keyboard and monitor. When I connect this camera to a USB hub, the camera is not recognized. The laptop sees it perfectly when the camera is connected to it, but not when it is connected to the hub. and then attach the lens cap. It fits well and is easy to make. But it's odd that the cover partially obscures the camera's two indicator lights (power on, camera on). Couldn't the lights have been rearranged so they can be fully seen when the cover is added?
