They fell down when the cats scratched a little or shook their heads. super easy to undo. I have bigger and more active cats but from other reviews I really should have known better I guess. Vibrant Life small or xs dog collars are what I usually buy and I had to stick with it. They detach when needed, but don't easily fall off with normal play/everyday wear.
