Definitely small pieces - my cats aren't thrilled with this one

My girls seem to like the taste but they definitely prefer the texture which doesn't require as much chewing - - they've gotten lazy like before spoiled. From a human perspective, this food smells real and fresh. I may need to put it in a food processor to get the best response from my cats. You've always resisted eating healthier, but I keep trying. My Siamese cat vomits less when fed without carrageenan. If I can get her to eat it.
