I use this iPad Pro dock adapter to watch movies on my big screen TV. This works great for me. I just plug it into the USB-C port on my iPad Pro 11" and then connect it to my HDTV with an HDMI cable. The signal is stable and the picture quality is excellent. No dropouts or lag that I experience Other ports The dongle seems to work as advertised You can charge your iPad Pro directly from the USB-C/PD port on the dongle so you don't have to unplug it The build quality is great and the aluminum body is an attractive finish, which fits and supports your iPad Pro has a soft finish that won't scratch your iPad The only issue is that I have my iPad Pro in an OtterBox for protection and the key doesn't fit in the corner due to the extra thickness of the case which is my fault anyway .This dongle has a soft-touch magnetic pad that you can attach/remove to install a bare iPad Pro or one with an original Apple case (presumably). ing.
