After reading all the reviews I decided not to stop and try them especially since they are on sale. After a small problem on the part of the seller (there was someone else's order in my box), the shoes arrived pretty much on time. I wore them during the day and wasn't satisfied. My fingers were tied and uncomfortable. The toe strap has an elastic insert that should offer enough freedom of movement. However, the strap that runs between the toes to the outside of the foot has no flex at all and was too tight. I decided to cut this strap off to see if they got any better and was happy to see that my toes now had some wiggle room. They aren't comfortable enough and don't have enough arch support to wear them for significant activities, but they can be worn to the beach and gardening.
