Wow, at this price they're great! I grew up with the Singer stainless steel scissors that my grandma and mom had and would threaten you with every ounce of your life against using them on paper or anything other than fabric. I actually have 3 pairs of these expensive Singer stainless steel scissors and decided to give them a try instead of sharpening the others. COMPLETE VICTORY! I love it. They're sharp, cut through fabric well, won't wear or sag, and are affordable. I have ordered a second of these scissors to be made into "baby scissors" so they can cut fabric, denim or whatever. Really great buy. By the way: after buying it, I cut the paper with my old stainless steel scissors and felt alive! Unfortunately, we now have some really expensive stainless steel paper cutter kitchen scissors.
