My 9 year old loves this sweatshirt. She put it on as soon as we opened the package. It's not bulky and is easy to play in and use as a light sweatshirt on a chilly day, but it's not the warmest for a really cold day (although great for layering). It is convenient to put your hands in small pockets. Inside there is a place to write her name, which is very convenient. She usually wears 10/12 and sometimes 12/14 (100lbs) and it fits her perfectly.
