power steering gear for LX450 and was on a tight schedule. The line fittings were frozen, I broke the 17mm box wrench I had. Went down the road to Lowe, took the Cobalt and bent it to the point that it was afraid of rounding the fitting. Went online and ordered a set of Neiko ring wrenches and this extender/oscillation/reducer. Drowned the fittings for the high and low lines in the PB blaster while waiting for the tools to arrive. When they arrived they put the goose foot on the fitting, attached the extension, ran it past the PS tank and pocketed my impact wrench, a minute and a half at half pressure and it popped out right away. It now lives in my toolbox and I hope that difficult tasks can be accomplished with ease for years to come. Incidentally, I treated the wobble end with a good quality Tri-Flow lube to prevent it from oxidizing and to reduce the friction that occurs at sharp angles. This is a much less jagged feeling after treatment.
