Quality: - Good quality. - The details come together well. - All the details are there. - All electronic components work well. Delivery: - Delivery was fast, packaging was good. Appeal: This is NOT a project for beginners or children. This car cannot be played like kids expect to play with remote control cars. This is NOT a remote control car. Don't get me wrong, this machine is controlled by you via your Android app or computer as it is a full computer on wheels connected to your wifi. Children are not allowed to carry or push this machine. In any case, the machine is a naked computer with raw, heaped sensors attached. So it should be handled with care. Skills: You must be very knowledgeable about computers and computer components. Experience in troubleshooting will come in handy, especially with the Linux operating system - you should be familiar with the Linux terminal and various commands. Advanced Python programming skills make this project easier. Sometimes you need to use common sense when connecting cables (e.g. a camera cable) because. The photos on the instructions are sometimes inaccurate. That said, the guide is well done and covers LOTS of THINGS. So if you're patient, you'll get there and still have a rumor that you haven't been able to retreat yet. Problems: The only problem I found is the wheels spinning. in the opposite direction, so if you push forward they move backwards and left and right are also swapped. This makes a lot of things useless. I emailed tech support and got a response within two days which I think is very reasonable. The first is to swap the wires on the motor (which requires a soldering iron), and the second is to make changes to the Python code in Motor.py and "-" in one of the four "(dutyX)"- to make lines. Although the upgrade was a lot easier, I decided to swap the wires for fun - haven't soldered in years. Everything else worked great. MUST HAVE: The car requires two 18650 batteries. I recommend buying 4 packs and a charger. These batteries power a computer (RaspberryPi) with an add-on board, four powerful motors, multiple sensors, LED lights, a buzzer, and a camera. If you use the car a lot the batteries will run out in about 2 hours which is not bad so having a spare seat back definitely helps. FINAL NOTE: This is a great car and you can do whatever you want with it. Ideal for learning programming and machine learning (ML). You can learn and apply all modern technologies and build an amazing project. I'm looking forward to updating the backend and teaching the car to learn different algorithms like reinforcement learning. This car can do the same thing as the Revain DeepRacer because you can use the same technology, but the Revain DeepRacer costs about $399, so I couldn't justify that I can do the same thing with this car. HAVE FUN!
