Bristles too stiff best in hair brushes

The brush was very hard so it took a long time to evenly apply the color to the hair. This resulted in over processing. I went back to using a brush from the dollar store. lolz. It has much more flexible bristles and it was easier and faster for me to apply color to my hair. Could complete it in the processing prong.
