Impossible to get the taste of plastic out of a bottle

Bought to train for a marathon and try as hard as I could I couldn't get rid of the plastic taste from the bottle with different solutions. It's such a unique shape that I can't swap the bottle for another hydration pouch. Only with a belt separately, because the water is undrinkable.
