My dad recently ordered and bought a new 2020 Legacy XT. He was upset that he had to put his two license plates directly on the bumpers of a new car. He didn't want the license plate to scratch the bumper and whatnot, so I went ahead and looked to see if there was some sort of scratch resistant frame. I stumbled across this one. Since my dad was also interested in these seating organizers, it was perfect. I went ahead and bought it after comparing it to other competitors. I liked that it's well ventilated and has drainage holes at the bottom. The little caps that cover the screws aren't plastic, they're metal, which is nice. All in all, I'm sure my dad enjoys knowing his new car isn't scratched by a license plate.
