I wanted my 4 year old to keep his library card and the money he gets from his grandparents when we go to the toy store so he can spend it. For the money it works very well, fits bills and closes well. But not his library card. I even tried cropping the card on all four sides to make it smaller but it still didn't fit after I trimmed it down to the minimum I could do and still had the barcode and library info on it the back. That means standard gift cards won't work either. I will say that it folds up nicely and fits perfectly in the back pocket of his small size 4 jeans. Our library stocks keychain cards as well as full-size credit card-sized cards, so he ended up putting these in his wallet.
