I've been playing in bands for decades and only started using them last year with a Shure in-ear transceiver. No matter how sharp and shrill the lead singer is, I can finish the concert, speak normally and sleep without ringing in my ears, which lasts for hours if not days. Especially with the white earbuds pictured on these phones, you really get out of the real world and then dial in exactly what YOU want to hear. Removing and replacing the earbuds is difficult at first, but easy and routine once you get the hang of how they twist and turn. out. The actual bolt protruding from the body is only about 3/32 inch in diameter. There is a ring in the middle of this 1/2" long bar that holds it in place. Always make sure the replacement eartip fits fully onto the stem. My drummer somehow got caught up with the headphone cord somewhere and he didn't push it far enough, this earbud fell out of the earcup so we had to use tweezers to pry the piece (in the photo she's wearing white) out of his ear.! Drummer LOL find out! Great headphones for Live music - hands down! I'll never play live music without them again!
