The phone holder was perfect. But there were problems with the part that attaches to the steering wheel. I attach my MTB riser near the center next to the stem. The handlebar diameter is approximately 31.8mm, which is a very typical size for modern MTB handlebars. The screw moves to the hole in the plastic clamp and forces it apart as it is tightened. See attached picture. I tried it with a thin rubber pad as indicated. I've also tried without the rubber spacer and with a thick rubber spacer. Nothing helped. He keeps spreading the plastic clip and looks like it might break. Unfortunately I will go back.
