When I saw them in person I knew there would be problems. The flared ends are too large to fit through a 6g piercing. I wanted a hollow set of earbuds so I could wear a hoop through them, but the Flair's size and hollow center make the material very flimsy. The end result is that it's just impossible to get them through my piercing. I've tried shrinking and folding the flair, but it's both too big to fit in and too small to fold further. I ended up just irritating my ears trying to get it in. They CAN work for a larger size, and based on other reviews, they do. But they definitely weren't designed for 6g or less.
