EDIT: On June 15, 2014, after 4 months of use, one of the three fans is making an occasional clicking noise. But after disconnecting and reconnecting several times, the clicks go away. It's been 2 months since I received it. That works great. My laptop's CPU and GPU got pretty hot, 105+ C at full load before I got this, now it's just heating up a bit (didn't check the temp because I don't need it, but I'd say no more than 85 C for CPU and GPU). I turned the dial up for hard work and down for viewing. The noise level at full speed is pretty loud, but since I'm wearing headphones I can't hear anything when it takes so much air to push through the laptop. The lowest speed is audible, but barely louder than my standard laptop fan at low speed. So far I haven't heard a click from any of the three fans. I have previously bought 2 Cooler Master NotePal U2, both make very annoying noises after a month of use, but this Cooler Master NotePal U3 PLUS has been running fine for over 2 months, mostly at full speed for at least 8 hours a day. .This is the BEST laptop cooler in my opinion as the fans are adjustable in position and speed and it cools the laptop very well, at least for me.
