This hat has just enough shape to the straw (not too floppy) to prop the brim up out of my eyes while I'm working. It has a chin strap which is odd, but easy enough to tuck into the sizing band inside. You can size the hat with a band of ribbon and some ties inside, and tuck the bow behind the strap so it stays out of the way, makes it fit delightfully well! Best of all - while the flower crown IS detachable (so you can wear it on its own!), it is not so loose as to slide around or fall off willy-nilly!
