Review on ๐ŸŽง Xbox 360 Ear Force XLC Stereo Headset with Integrated Microphone by Justin Reese

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Turtle Beach XLC good for older systems

(1-22-2012) Really good for the price. My online gaming experience is much better. Ability to hear all kinds of in-game sounds (MW3 and MW2). A little confused in the connection part, game chat and group chat take long time to navigate. Once connected, you'll find the gameplay and voice chat flowing through both the TV and the headset. I just turned down the volume on the TV. To be able to hear with both ears you need to go to the Xbox guide button, scroll right under Settings and Preferences and then change your voice from headset to both. Then just play around with the game and voice volume as you like. If this is not enough during the game, go to the options and adjust the game volume. My only concern is that after using the headset for a while, it feels like it's squeezing your head a lot, so wearing the XLC for long periods of time causes ear discomfort. In general, the voice is clear and everything can be heard in the game. Some voice chats are sometimes very quiet. The microphone is sensitive so you don't have to shout at the top of your lungs for others to hear you.
